ALTAIR ISRAEL continue to grow and looking for Sales and Business Development Representative (SDR/BDR), who is passionate about software technology to help uncover opportunities and unleash Altair’s market potential. The role provides a unique starting point through a career growth that goes up to inside sales, outside sales, and Strategic Account Management. As an SDR/BDR at Altair Israel, your primary responsibilities will include uncovering new business opportunities at prospects and existing customers, supporting Account Managers to generate meetings and revenue, qualifying existing leads, liaising with a wide range of stakeholders and persona’s across all industries and job levels (including senior management) to help enable customer success and support Altair’s technology adoption.
You will receive hands-on training and mentorship that will enable you to grow, learn, and be successful.
This position will report to the Israel and South-Africa Country Manager.
What you will do in your role:
Identify, prospect, and hunt new opportunities through networking, Social Networks, Cold Calling, and other lead generation techniques
Conduct market & territory research on targeted accounts, verticals, competition and more
Set-up qualified meetings for Account managers
Develop and accomplish a lead generation plan, meeting, or exceeding monthly targets
Own and convert inbound Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) to Sales Qualified Leads (SQL)
Create and deliver qualified opportunities to Account Managers (lead qualification)
Cooperate with Marketing, Account Managers and Sales Supervisor to support account strategies, tactics, and value propositions
Develop and consolidate activity reports on monthly activity, per product / industry / region / etc
Capture, maintain, and expand the regional customer and prospect database using a CRM system
Cover local and global markets, in multi-language and cultural diversity
What skills and experience you will need to be successful in this role:
Be a People Person!
A team player, highly energetic, self-motivated, confident and results oriented
Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation – Full professional fluency in Hebrew and English
Comfortable in doing prospecting: phone/cold calling, LinkedIn, others
Able to generate and qualify leads
Know how to use MS Office (Excel is a must!), CRM (Salesforce Preferred) and Marketing (HubSpot) tools
Honest, accountable, assertive, and systematic
About to or already completed a degree in Business Administration or Marketing
1-2 years of experience as BDR/SDR or customer facing role in B2B environments, ideally in a technology-related environment
Experience navigating prospective accounts from and into a senior executive level to identify new customer opportunities
Great passion for data, simulation, and overall selling software technologies
Ability to simultaneously track multiple initiatives and projects
A person that is fun to work with (We will do our best to be such as well 😊)
