ALTAIR ISRAEL is expending and looking for Entry to Mid-Level Sales and Business Development Representative (SDR), who is passionate about scaling the growth of Altair’s regional business and working in a local and global markets. Job Summary:

As a Sales and Business Development Representative (SBDR) at Altair, you will be responsible to uncover new business opportunities and generate software and services revenue, mostly from new customers. You will work to establish Altair as their main partner in Simulation Solutions. Important parts of this role are to establish and strengthen high level relationships as well as technical knowhow in the customer organization and enable them to unlock additional value by helping address their most important challenges.
This position will report to the Israel and South-Africa Country Manager.

What You Will Do:

  • Deliver, track and report revenue forecast and account activities on a timely basis
  • Prospect/Hunt new opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation techniques, as well as converting Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) to Sales Qualified Leads (SQL)
  • “From Lead to Order” – Manage the sales-cycle, performing lead qualification, develop sales strategies, tactics, and value propositions, quoting and closing.
  • Collaborate with Altair’s Technical Pre-Sales, Product Specialist, Marketing and Sales teams and other functions within Altair.
  • Actively work your customer base within your territory to strengthen relationships and create new ones
  • Working with customers’ Technical Engineering users, IT, Purchasing and management stakeholders.
  • Cover local and global markets, in multi-language and cultural diversity.
  • Co-Work with global partners to develop business opportunities.

What You Will Need:


  • Hunter, Winner, Highly energetic and self-starter!
  • Strong track record of success with software/technology sales as quota carrying rep’ (2-5 Years)
  • A Team player with ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams, local and global.
  • Excellent communication skills – Verbal, written and presentation – Hebrew and English
  • Previous experience building customer relationships
  • Comfortable in doing prospecting: phone/cold calling, LinkedIn, others
  • Honest, accountable, assertive, and systematic
  • Ability to travel up to 25%


  • Previous experience in Simulation Solutions or other CAD tools
  • Working with CRM tool. Salesforce Preferred
